I was in 4th grade........ Played drums for a few months anyway,then I dropped out...

The school band (where I live) starts when you’re in 5th grade.

Ya thats when it started in my school also but the instructer liked how good I sounded so he let me in the band...... I feel bad now,he probably was sorry he let me in!! :(

I dunno,I got tired of it....... It was right before a concert also........ I was gonna dropout AFTER THE CONCERT but he wouldnt let me.... He said either drop NOW or stay......

You should’ve at least stayed until the concert was done, then quit.

I have a friend who is autistic and she was also in the band, but dropped out after being in it for a short time.

Ya it takes alot of time and can be quite overwelming!

Now I think back and I should have stayed longer....... The guy usually didnt let 4th graders join band........ I dunno........

I was all set to join the band when I was a 5th grader, but then found out that I couldn't. :(
