what is the current "hacking" status of both U.S. services?

i have been out of this since the P4 cards came out, is there anything actually WORKING still?

Not that I know of. The big thing now is jailbreaking an Amazon Fire Stick. I don't have one but I've heard they work great.

Nothing I've heard of but haven't been around that for years. Maybe someone out there on one of the forums working on it though

last i heard ( 2+ years ago ) was that they had a working "wide open" dish hack but would not make it public.

Well ... out of the blue ... and good to be back.

I'm going to look into the Amazon Fire Stick jailbreak and will report back.

There is a shaw box out there for us canadians that gets pretty much everything except PPV.

Well I purchased several Amazon Fire Sticks, and all I can say is ... AMAZING ... !!!

I have Amazon Prime so, linked with the Fire Stick, that alone provides an unbelievable set of options and content.  I've only scratched the surface.

I also performed the jailbreak ... again ... AMAZING ... !!!  This Forum Topic may need to be revised from "Satellite Chat" to something like "Satellite and Streaming TV Chat."

The core of the jailbreak is Kodi 2017 ... there's all kinds of information and instructions on YouTube.

And there are scores of "Add-Ons" that provide various tableaus of content.  Again, I've only scratched the surface, but the key ones for me are Specto that provides movies not only currently in the theater but just about every movie ever filmed.  My second must have is cCloud TV that provides current, real-time TV shows from all over the world.  Lastly, I like Indigo that is sort of a handy "utility tool."

I don't know how long all this Fire Stick jailbreak will last, but with all of the streaming content now available from a growing number of sources, it may be nigh impossible to negate although there will certainly be "jailbreak updates."  Have fun ... !!! ... Mal

Check out Lentech TV on facebook. He does a Firsestick mod. I use a pre-made setup from these guys on my Android TV box, works great, add ons get upgraded regularly and it usually works right without having to mess around with anything.

Got the Firestick in, but it won't fit my tv. So I need an HDMI extender next.

  Most of the headend  encryptions have been hacked globally.  Europe, us ,asia, africa, samerica etc.  Depending on where you live and what content you watch determines the size of your dish.  Im using a 10 ft dish and will be watching the fight tomorrow on satellite ppv in master quality.  Screw firestick streaming.  Btw Maui I used to be a private member.
